Demographics
As per 2011 Census of India Gazole CD Block had a total population of 343,830 of which 332,191 were rural and 11,639 were urban. There were 174,536 males and 169,294 females. Scheduled Castes numbered 128,464 and Scheduled Tribes numbered 68,548.[3]
Gajole is mostly populated by Rajbanshi community and Santal tribes. But they live in the villages. The proper Gajole area is populated by other castes. Presently very few family of these community have access to proper Gajole. It is a matter of concern. Because earlier history shows that Gajole was mainly populated by Rajbangshi and Santal but development has not reached to those people
