The Seibu Seibu-en Line (西武園線 Seibu-en-sen) is a Japanese commuter railway line operated by the Seibu Railway, a major private railroad in Tokyo. The single-track line connects Higashi-Murayama Station and Seibuen Station, both located in Higashimurayama, Tokyo.

History

The line was opened on 5 April 1930^[1] by the Musashino Railway. In 1943, the line was designated a formal route for people to evacuate to Sayama Park to escape from bombing raids, but service on the line was suspended in 1944. The company merged with the Seibu Railway in 1945, and services recommenced on the line in 1948.
